this..
and this
---------------------------------
So! To celebrate out last day in New Delhi we agreed on starting a new tradition.
We have the chance to cover as many as 9 locations during these 4 months, and after our first Asian Hard Rock experience (ooh that didnt sound good..) we are sure we will make them all!
Bye bye germs!
(yes, everyone entering had to be sanitized! thats what you call service)
After the big tragedy when we found out that people don't eat meat in India (even not in McDonalds!!) we couldn't believe our eyes when we found "pepper fillet steak" on the menu!
Once again Lina is quite happy with her investment of the day!
"Im sure that this wallet never will be stolen, who in its right mind would even bother?"
True to another newfound tradition we had to do one last Tuk Tuk ride. We also played the Indian national game:
How many people can you fit in/on this vehicle?
Bye bye Ritesh and Lele!
Off to the train station, and this did not seem to be our lucky day!
No one told us about monsoon season in Delhi!
When we finally got inside things started to look a bit better!
Night trains does not get enough credit! We even got dinner!
Within the next 3 hours we forcefully got 3 more meals put in our bed. No option saying no. When the lunch-, dinner-, soup- or supper trays are coming, you better wake up and EAT!
During the night (with no sleep for Lina, and to much sleep for Ranveig) New Delhi faded into a pleasant memory. A city with many first experiences for us, a city where you can find the most advanced shopping malls on one side of the road and a village made out of cardboard and garbage bags on the other. A city where getting food for the family can be the one and only activity of the day or where food is something you get after screaming through the door to one of your 3 servants (yes, we have seen that to). Definitely a place worth experiencing!
Awesomeness
Lina & Ranveig
